ELECTRICAL TESTING · SYDNEY'S INNER WEST
Electrical safety testing
Electrical safety checks and test and tag for homes, businesses and managed properties. Will explains the results and any recommended follow-up work.
What electrical testing can tell you
Electrical testing helps identify faults, confirm whether equipment is operating safely and provide useful information before repairs, upgrades or ongoing maintenance. Will explains what has been tested, what the results mean and whether any further work is recommended.
- Electrical safety checks for homes, businesses and managed properties
- Test and tag for suitable portable electrical equipment
- Circuit and equipment testing during fault finding or upgrade work
- Compliance documentation where it is required for the work completed
What to send for a quote
Send the property type, suburb, number and type of items or circuits involved, and any deadline or access requirements. For commercial or managed properties, include the site contact and any previous records. Mention equipment that needs to remain available so interruptions can be discussed before the visit.
Choosing the right checks
The appropriate checks depend on the installation, equipment and reason for testing. Will can confirm the likely scope after reviewing the details and may recommend an on-site inspection before final pricing.
Portable equipment or the property’s wiring?
Test and tag enquiries relate to suitable portable electrical equipment. A check of the property’s wiring, circuits or switchboard is a different scope of work. If you are unsure which you need, describe the equipment or concern and the reason you are arranging testing.
Results and follow-up work
Tell Will if a property manager, workplace or other recipient needs particular records. Agree the testing and reporting scope before the visit. If a problem is identified, Will can explain the findings and discuss any further investigation or repair separately.
Common electrical testing questions
Can you check an electrical fault during the visit?
Mention the symptoms when booking. Fault finding may require a different scope and time allowance from planned testing, so Will can discuss the appropriate appointment with you.
Do you work with property managers?
Yes. Include the site address privately in your enquiry, the access contact and the work requested. Will can confirm availability and what is needed before attending.
Check service areas or send your suburb with your enquiry.
